Q: Ring Worms

About 2 months ago my husband and I bought a cat, and all of a sudden we noticed small bumpy rings appearing on our arms, they were perfectly round, red and bumpy with a kind of clear patch in the middle of the ring. We then realised we had caught ring worms from the cat. The cat was treated, and we used antifungal cream to treat us, but I just wanted to say, don't be fooled into thinking that once they have dissappeared they are gone. Oh no they are not, if you don't keep treating them with antifungal cream 2 weeks after they disappear they will return.

Nasty things.... Rolling Eyes

Extremely eHealthy
I know. I had one as a kid and it was there for a while but I never knew where it came from. And I think I treated it once and it never came back. So I was lucky. But good post to let others know about it!
