Hi everyone
i have for the past two years gone through an array of disabling symptons . When I was still working my co workers would frequently comment on my flushed faced ,i never thought anything of it . Then about two months ago broke out in this rash that turned out to be fifths ,however along with the rash on arms legs and chest the red face nose and cheeks were notice by my gp ,she ordered an ana test titer was 1:100 speckled pattern , she didn't seem concerned however when I saw her again two weeks ago looking like rudolph the red faced she reordered test I got the results from her receptionist as she is on vacation and the titer is still 1:100 speckled pattern along withslightly elevated esr of 24 . I saw a rheumaltologist two years ago and shesaid I had fibro go exercise . I have symptons of lupus and other neuro problems that my neurologist called a unknown neurologiacl disorder . Should I see another neurologist ? Is my ana positive .
Thanks

Welcome to the group! I am ladybrannon.

My first question: have you seen a rheumatologist? I don't recall you speaking of one in your story?

What other symptoms? I know you spoke of rashes, etc. But can you think of other things? Sometimes things that seem insignificant are not...

If you are thinking lupus or an autoimmune (there are tons that mimic lupus), might I suggest keeping a diary? In that diary, note headaches, pain, fevers, and anything else you feel necessary. Take it to the doctors.

Keep a list and a copy of all the blood work, especially if they start sending you to several type of specialists! This will be invaluable to everyone!

Good luck! I wish you well! If you have any questions or concerns, ask away! They are some people here that have been diagnosed with lupus for years!

Hugs,
ladybrannon
