I recently had radioactive iodine for
graves disease. I want another baby (i
have a 4 yr. Old) but I just turned 40.
I wonder if I am infertile now or do I
have a chance of conceiving, and is there
anything I can do to improve my odds?

I am going to undergo radiation treatment
for my graves disease and often wonder the
same thing about conceiving children. I
have been told that there should be no
problems but I wanted to talk to somebody
with some experience...

I had rai at age 19, and I am now 27. I
was told that the rai should have little
or no effect on my fertility, however, I
hve not yet tried to start a family, so I
do not know if what they told me is true

Hi! I am 28 years old and just found out
that I was pregnant with my second child.
I had radioactive iodine to treat my
graves disease in nov of 03...So to all
worried about conceiving after rai
treatment..No worries! It only took my
husband and I ..4 months! :)
i was wondering if anyone had any info on
the effects pregnancy has on graves
disease? Any info would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks! :d
