I've just become sexually active in the past few months. The first few times my boyfriend and I used condoms with spermicide with ky jelly, and also a vaginal foam. The foam always burned for a few minutes and then went away with time. We've been doing ok, it still hurts a bit, but lately i've noticed a change in myself there with less discharge, or just white. Once my boyfriend found white blobs on the condom and it was definately from me. A lot of people told me it was a yeast infection so I took monistat for that. Well my boyfriend and I tried again tonight (its been 5 days since my last monistat suppository) and it burned like hell. He couldn't get probably more than an inch. It burned for about 10 mins after we stopped and we barely did anything. It's just on the inside. Does anyone know what could cause this? Is it possible for a rash to develop in there or something? We spread out the times so wouldn't it have time to heal by then?? We are both clean, no stds. We also had plenty of lubrication. I really wish this wouldn't hurt so much, I love him so much. I'm calling a gynecologist tomorrow, but i'm wondering does anyone else have any problems like this? Any idea what it could be?

It could be a different kind of infection. Like bacterial vaginosis.
But, at the same time over the counter yeast infection treatments do not always work.
I would not use foam anymore. It gives me infections so I cannot use it. I also cannot use spermicide as it does the same thing.
So, I would go to the gyno, find out what exactly is wrong and treat it, and then just use condoms and lube. Natural lube, not flavored, colored or the warm up kind.
Some women are just really sensitive. It is nothing to be ashamed or embarassed about, because it happens to a lot of us. Just be careful what you use.
