Q: Rash's That Reoccurr?

It was about four years ago now that I first noticed an itching on my abdomen, right above my pubic hair line.

The itching progressed over a matter of days unitl there was a bunch of bumps that eventually turned into a rash.

I saw an old family doctor, a dermatoligist, who looked at it and mumbled some latin and asked me if I had it anywhere else ( meaning my penis ).

He gave me some topical creme and some anitbiotics told me see him again if it did'nt go away. He also said that it was mildly contagious only if it rubbed against someone, like when having sex.

It went away (along with my jockitch, thanx to the anitbiotics) and I thought it was all behind me.

Three months later it resurfaced.

It's been four years now and everytime I think it's gone, it pops up again, just about every two to three months. It will stay for about two weeks and then disappear again.

No one that I have been with sexually, including my current girlfriend of almost two years, has contracted this. I know I obviously need to go back to see a specialist about it but i'm just so confused about what it might be. Besides, everytime I decide that nows the time, it goes away. What am I going to show the doctor if there's nothting to look at?

Does anyone out there have a clue as to what I should do?

About three months later it surfaced again
