Q: Birth Control And Seizures

Hi everyone, I dont think i've posted a question before but im curious. First off I think most of you know i'm 22. I was pregnant once but thats a long story and a painful one so I wont get into that. However I was wondering what the chances of getting seizures while on birth control is. I am asking because:
1) I do have sex with my boyfriend and we have had a few scares because of awful condoms
2) I get migraines 5/7 days a week so my doctor said this raises my risks immensely of experiencing seizures while on the bcp
3) I get horrible cramps and pains during my period, and have been hospitalized for it numerous times and no medications work. I have heard that the bcp lessens your cramps

Hi tanya!!

Have you asked your doctor about the risk of it? I do know that the pill helps with the cramps and regulates the period. Have you looked on the internet to see if it links together, or hightens your risk of seizures? Well hopefully someone here knows alot more info on that! Good luck!
