My dark spots used to stay on my face for over a year when I was between 13 - 17 years old but as I grew up, the less it took for them to fade because I took better care of my skin. Now it only takes a month or two to disappear. I wash my face every morning and then moisturise. During the night, I would wash my face, use a mild toner and then moisturise.
