Hello, I get these small acne things in my earlobes sometimes, and they usually go away in about a a month. About 2 - 3 years ago I got one on my earlobe that didn't go away. It was about the size of a pea, and not visible or painfull in any way. A few days ago I got pissed beacuse I worry about things, so I took a needle to it! Now it's all infected, red, and hurts when you touch it. I'm only worried if it's cancer. Could it be cancer? Everyone is telling me that it can't be because it's infected, red, swollen, and was acne at some point. I'm going to the doctor on monday and am very worried about what i'm going to hear.

Edit: not on my ear, inside.

Extremely eHealthy
If in doubt, get it checked out, this is the way I feel! Yes, you should see a Dr. About this, especially with it being infected! It could be something minor and then again it could be more serious, I am no Dr. And I am unable to see it but I would definitely get it checked out!
Sincerely,
sandy

I believe those are sebaecious cysts. They are hard and sometimes tender to the touch right? Yeah well I a small one in one of my lobes. It's nothing serious. But in your case, you did poke it with a needle, i'd recommend you check it out. Anywho, those cysts takes forever to disappear and they keep reappearing.

Do you have peirced ears? I occasionally had them in both my ears, but my left (peirced) ear was much worse.. I describe them more as ingrown pimples because I noticed they could be "popped".. But they are gone now with no traces (scaring).

Probably nothing to worry about..
