I have recentley been on a small doasge of otc anabolic steroids to rehab my knee. After being on the pills for 4 days I have developed systemic rash-like bumbs all over my body. They itch from time to time and seem to be rooted in the hair follices only.

Any idea. I stoped yesterday and its been one week.

That is really odd...Especially considering that steroids are anti-inflammatories...They use steroids to stop allergic reactions.

I would suggest seeing your doctor asap!

Just stopping steroids can be dangerous...Thus, why they use tapers. Your body naturally makes the corticosteroids and they generally are released in the mornings. However, if you begin taking steroids; your body stops making them naturally. Of course, this is all related to time.. The longer you have taken the steroids, the more dangerous to just stop.

I hope you find some answers,

ps- I do know about steroids...I have been on them for over 2 years at some serious doses...

allergic reaction to steroids
I was given a shot today to help get rid of poison ivy. I am now feeling strange; symptoms include sweaty, rapid heartbeat, numbness in arms. Any suggestions?
