I am a 40 year old woman who has just started the pill. I am not taking it to prevent pregnancy, as I am recently separated. I am taking it to make my periods lighter and to clear up my skin.

Anyway, I was supposed to take it the sunday after my period, but instead I started it in the middle of my cycle. What can I expect? Will my period come in 28 days from starting the pill or my regular cycle.

Thanks

It should be ok, but you might want to check with your doctor what would happen if you were off. My co-worker is doing the same things, but im not sure on when to start it.
