Yah im not going to lie to u I have my days where its hard and other days are easier u have to take it day by day there will be days where all u wanna do is scream cry and laugh all at the same time and there will be other days where everything is great and u laugh the whole time! Its harder if u dont have a good support system! But u can do it w/ or w/o the daddy!!! What keeps my spirits up is the forum I have been on here since I was 6 weeks preg! Hey
Of course it is hard. And trying. But I haven't found a decent teen mother yet to say that they hate being a mother.

I'm not exactly a teen i'm 23 but even at my age it's not easy. I don't really think being a first time mom is easy at any age. Having help definently makes it easier.

I guess it depends on who you talk to and when you talk to them. Today, I feel like a shitty mother, last week I felt like a shitty mother. I have been working full time now, and then I go home and I take care of my little one. Here it is 7:52 and I am waiting for my aunt to finish up her work so I can go home. He will be in bed by the time I get home. I will have seen him once today. This is the type of night where I hope he wakes up so I can snuggle him and read him a story. I have only been working a couple weeks, but my aunt is taking off the rest of the week and so am I to spend time with sean. I think life would be a hell of a lot harder though if I did not have a great support system like jeni said. You have to believe in yourself overall though, you have to tell yourself each morning "i know I am tired, but he needs me" and when you just fall asleep and her cries you tell yourself, "i love him I love him I love him." just think of the positive aspects, dont stress...

Always here,
stacie, larry, and our not so little one sean

You girls do have a point when you have support and others are willing to help it takes a whole lot of stress off your shoulders. Even though you must always think positive and know that this is your responsibility it is hard at times.
Theres also places or facilities you can go to where they help with this kind of situation. Good luck

Hi kc, being a teen mom is hard, even at 19! I fel pregnant in augst 2008, and im 4months gone already.
You at 15, well i have to be honest i was shocked when i read it! But whats done is done!
When i fel pregnant at 18, my parents went mad at me told me i was too young, my mom told me to pack my stuff and move out she didn't want me my dad on the other hand was a bit more supportive, he wasnt perfect though! My older sister, wel shes not really bothered, i hardly see her as it is. But after four months, my mom is starting to come around and starting to support me more, offering to go and get things for me from the shop offering to take me out in the car etc.
So all i can say to you kc is, as long as you have a supportive family you'll be just fine =]

Oh yes it will be hard, but being a mother is hard no matter what your age is. I was 15 when i was pregnant, i'm 17 now with an almost 18month old daughter called Mika. Mika is the BEST and most IMPORTANT person in my life and i don't regret having her for a second, it may have made my life harder but she has made me who i am, i am college now training in hair and beauty therapy and her father whom we live with is currently studying law and hoping to go to university to become a lawyer in 2 years
