Hi--i have a spot in my lower left abdomen/pelvic region that is very sore to the touch and has been there for at least 1 month now. I am almost 5 months pregnant and my ob doc dismissed it as normal, but my nurse friend was concerned it may be my colon. I am only 28 years old and have noticed nothing strange about bm's, etc.
Anyone know if this could indicate problem with my colon? I am going to the doctor week after next.
Thanks, anyone!

Re:tender Lower Abdomen
I am the same age and have similar symptoms. At my yearly visit, my ob/gyn did a quick ultrasound to check for ovarian cysts to see if that was the cause. When he didn't see anything, he dismissed it. Let me know what your doc says.

tender colon
Hi
I am 18 and had a baby five and a half months ago. After giving birth my placenta would not release from my uterus. The midwife pushed on my stomach and pulled on the cord. This gave me severe pain. Since giving birth i suffer quite offten with severe pain in my stomache and back pain, this is to the extent of not being able to move my body and staying in one position lasting hours. I have seen a couple of GP's who say it could be my contraception and that i am quiet tender over my colon. Please can you help ?
