We burp, belch and fart an average of 12 times a day. But why do we have gas? And what is intestinal gas?...the basics here....
Intestinal gas forms from two main sources - swallowed air and bacteria in the intestine. Plus, learn which factors to avoid to decrease the likelihood of gas....
How much gas is normal? Usually symptoms of gas and flatulence are more bothersome than serious. But learn when you should seek help for excessive gas here....

Confused I feel a bit silly asking this.....But it's a question i've had for a while????? I think I know the answer, but want to have it confirmed>>>> here goes:
a. What is an orgasm?
B. How do I know i'm having one?
C. When a woman "cums", does that mean she's had an orgasm?
I welcome answers to these questions.....I have more, but I firgured I start with these.
I look forward to hearing back.

Thanks!

If you have an orgasm, there will be no question in your mind whether or not you've had one.

There is a build up, a mounting of tension where you start to become very focused on the feeling.
Once you actually orgasm there is the very pleasurable "release" of tension followed by a series of involuntary muscle contractions.

I don't know how else to describe it.

Hope this helps.

Most people say "you will know when you know" but that's not much help. Cheekymonkey is righton with her description. The muscle contractions are usually localized in the uterus, with some women experiencing muscle contractions in the vaginal area. Though most women will say you can feel some release throughout the whole body, not just the uterus and vagina.

The word "cum" is often used to refer to two different things. Some refer to "cum" as orgasm, and some use it to mean when a woman ejaculates (aka the female ejaculation).

What Is An Orgasm??????
Both of you are great in your explainations......And I thank you for that, but....I'm still??????Reason being....Let me explain:
during foreplay, I reach a point where the best way to describe it would be, a tickling feeling, so I pull away.......Am I about to reach an orgasm there?????? During intercourse I tend to feel the same thing, I don't pull away and allowing him to finish.......My toes tend to curl......And it feels really good.....Have I had an orgasm then??????

Are there any really good books anyone can suggest>>>>>i recently ordered a book called the big "o"

i'm still open to all your repies.

Thanks

Oh,hon-don't pull back!!Ride the wave of pleasure all the way!!Maybe if you have a few "practice runs"(masturbate!!) on your own, you'll feel more comfortable with the feeling of orgasm.I did not enjoy sex for the first 5 years I was sexually active.I was so focused on being a "good lay"that I focused entirely on my partner and not at all on me.Got over that, thank god!!Relax and enjoy!Patty

I agree that if you have an orgasm you would know it. It is a build up of a feeling and you can't wait to get to the top. Once you get there, the release is awesome and you might feel it through your whole body. Sometimes it even makes me light headed. My suggestion is to discover your body and masturbate to see what feels good to you. Relax and bring yourself to an orgasm so you will know what it is and how it makes you feel.
