When you had your kidney infection did it hurt whenever you tried to change positions or put stress on the side that it is, bcuz I think I have one (on the left), but first I chalked it up to pregnancy and it went away. Now its back with a vengence. If I try and walk and put too much pressure on it, it hurts if I bend the wrong way it hurts. I am just curious what do they do for that bcuz if it doesnt stop today I am going to the doc tonight. Oh yeah and everytime I look up "signs of kidney infection" it just gives me a lot of stuff I dont have (except the back pain). Thanks for any info.

When I had it, it started with a sharp pain in my right side, I almost thougt it was my apendix, but then it was too much in my back for that! It just got worse though as hours went on, I was having lots of trouble walking, I was crippled over to my side, and couldn't put much pressure on my right leg when walking, I was crying for hours in pain. Finally it lightened up and I was able to go back to sleep, and even walk the next day, though in a lot of pain. But it hurt to touch my sides (it went from my right kidney to my left) and hurt to take in deep breaths. But thats basically it.
