Q: It Hurts!

The last two weeks or so when I have sex I have a pain on the right side of my abdomen. I would change position and it goes away but after sex the pain would come back and it gets worse. I feels as if I am going through labor again (i have a four year old). I want to know what could cause this. There is no discharge or anything else out of the ordinary. I use condoms everytime I have sex, I use the restroom after, and I drink plenty of water. I am very confused and scared about whats going on in my body right now. Please help! Crying or Very sad

Hmm, it could be a number of things. It could be your appendix. It could be an ectopic pregnancy, that's when a zygote gets implanted into your fallopian tubes instead of your uterus - this is a dangerous condition and the possibility is worthy of seeing a doctor. Taking a pregnancy test would be helpful. It could be something else with your digestive or reproductive system. Unfortunately, it would be difficult to say without an exam.

I think you should see your doctor, pain with sex is never a good thing.

Does it pain you any other time?

It could also be an ovarian cyst.
Regardless of what the possibilities are, anything that causes you unusual pain should be investigated.
Soon.

Good luck.

Confused Thanks for the reply's. It does hurt every now and then for a short amount of time but the main discomfort comes during and after sex. I'll take a pregnancy test and go from there. Thanks again.
