:shock:hi everyone, this is something I have never done before. But since it is so hard to get my husband to understand what i'm going through, I thought I would give it a shot in here. I'm 43 and must be having early menopause. The fatigue, headaches, body aches, mood swings, lose of memory, depression, and what I believe are hot flashes, though they mainly make my hands hot which is very confusing to me, is about to make me nuts! My mother was completly through menopause at 45 so I believe that is what is happenning to me. I am still on the pill since they said it would help with such symptoms. I also take the herb black cohosh which seems to help if I remember to take them every day. I have tried the progesterone cream, but can't tell if its helping or not. Well thanks for listening. Wink if anyone has any suggestions i'd appreciate it! Oh yea,i also try to walk 15 min. A day. They say exercise helps. Thanks again. Going nuts, lolli

Hello lolli! My name is mary and i'm new here too. Have you tried that new supplement called estroven? I think it comes in 2 different formulas. You can buy it at the cheaper at the grocery store or they have it at places like gnc.

Perimenopause
Hello pilleus,
thanks for the reply. No I haven't tried the estroven since it mainly consists of black cohosh and soy and I already take the herb black cohosh. But i'm about ready to try some soy milk or any product with soy. I seem to be doing better lately. I'm walking up to 30 min. A day now and remembering to take my supplements. Although now I am starting to have pms symptoms after my period. I've never had a problem with bad pms even during my periods. But now that i'm getting close to the finish line ( I hope ) ( menopause ) they are becoming a problem. (cramps). Oh, whats a girl to do! Thanks again for the reply. Sometimes it just helps to talk with someone who understands!

Hey lolli, I remember my sister who is 42, telling me about the benefits of soy for premenopausal women. She is really big on health stuff and she told me to start eating soy products. I really haven't except I switched to the slim fast that has soy in it.

I'll be 40 this year and I have always suffered really bad cramps and pms.

I've been told that having a baby helps with cramps, but i've never had a baby. My gyno gives me lortab for cramps and it works really good.

I talked to my gyno about getting my tubes tied and he said that would be bad for me because I get ovarian cysts and it could make them worse. Rolling Eyes I don't want to have kids and neither does my husband. I want him to get a vasectomy but he's too chicken... Rolling Eyes

i too like to walk, but when it's really hot in the summer I don't do it as much. My working overtime lately has cut into my free time in the evenings too. Keep up your excercise because that is soooo good for you. Cool
