Q: What Will Happen?

Does anyone know if taking birth control pills will cause you to have a miscarriage? I started birth control pills after what I thought was my period. I have been taking them for about 2 weeks now. I am having the symptoms of being pregnant and I took a test and it came up positive. I haven't missed one dose of the pills so I believe I could have gotten pregnant before I started them. Can anyone help figure out if I should expect this pregnancy to miscarry?

I'm sure you have already but if not definatly stop taking the pills. You should make an appointment with your doctor for a prenatal check-up. I wouldn't think you should have to worry about taking the pills you have already taken. It's possible to miscarry but my doctor gave me the impression that the chances were slim as long as you stop taking them when you find out. Definatly call your doctor though. Good luck with everything!
