headaches, always above eyes. If I take
excedrine the headache dulls but will come
back within a few hours.
Here's the tricky part:
if I take a nap for 30 minutes, when I
wake up the headache is gone, and usually
doesn't come back that day. But it
doesn't matter how much sleep I get, I get
headaches whether I got 3 hours, or 10
hours of sleep the night before. It also
doesn't matter if I close my eyes for 30
minutes, I have to sleep.
Even more tricky, is that I can predict my
headaches; because I get them every time I
sit around for more than a few hours at a
time. I do try and keep busy throughout
the day, which keeps me active and
healthy, but it really sucks knowing if I
want to relax for awhile that I will pay
for it by a headache. Even worse is that
when I have school, I get headaches
everytime, because I sit in the classrooms
for hours at a time. I used to think
maybe I was straining my eyes staring at
the whiteboard, or staring at the computer
screen, but I will get my headache sitting
on the couch staring at nothing, or if i'm
driving for more than a couple hours i'll
get one, because i'm just sitting there.
And I don't get headaches staring at the
computer screens at my job, because it's
the kind of job where i'm moving around
most of the time.
My diet has changed completely over the
last 6 months, and that has not affected
my headaches whatsoever. I cut caffiene
from my diet, which had no effect. I've
tried drinking more water each day. I
don't smoke, i'm not overweight, i've
never had a sinus infection (that I know
of) or any allergies. There are no
problems with my vision. Has anyone heard
of similar headache symptoms before? I
couldn't find anything about it on search
engines, and don't have insurance right
now, or i'd go to the doctor's office.
Thanx for your time.

You say your vision is fine but have you
actually had a really thorough check of
your eyes (not just your eyesight but also
things like pressure blood flow etc)?
Today seems to be my day for posts that
suggest people keep a diary of
things>> try keeping a diary which
includes what & when you eat,
exercise, get these pains/headaches &
their severity, any other symptoms, where
you are & also any stressors that
happen that day or anything you
might(repeat might) be worried about.
You might also try something like yoga
with a relaxation component which might
help.
If this keeps up & if there's no
explanation try & get a hold of a ces
machine (dynamind.Com about $200 to buy)
these help sleep, anxiety, depression
& it reduced my migraines from 1-2 a
day to one well rarely & usually when
I haven't used the machine!!
