Q: Could It Be?? Pregnant Without Sex??

Hi everyone, basically me and my girlfriend are so scared at the mo. We have never had sex before but.. (please dont laugh)... We have rubbed against each other with either clothes on or with a condom on, although a few weeks ago we need forget the condom and rubbed against each other for a while without it, we have never had sex only ever done this and oral sex. I have never ejactualted onto her, but is it possible that she could be pregnent.

She has got sore breasts and it looks like small bumps have appeared around her nipple. She is due on her period late this week, we have bought a pregnancy test but it says that we cant use it untill the period date, this is killing us inside, this really would be the worst thing to happen to use, we are both only 16.

What are the chances that she could be pregnent, could these symtoms be for her period (she says that she never normally gets this before her period)

thanks for your time, please help, we are so scared, we cant tell our perants that would be to hard.

Thanks Sad

While it's very unlikely considering you haven't actually ejaculated onto her, you have to keep in mind that "pre-cum" contains sperm, so it's possible.
If you don't want to get pregnant, you need to use protection. Without fail.
If you are considering becoming more sexually active (taking it to the next level) you need to consider a more reliable form of birth control.
At your girlfriend's age, her system is probably still changing as it matures. She may notice different pre-menstrual symptoms over the years.
Good luck.

Like I say, it was the bit when she told me that she had sore and tender breasts, and then today should me this little dot (spot) type things around her nipple, can this appear just before the period??

Thanks for your help.

Like I say we really are worried at the mo. Hoping that everything is ok, we took the test today and it said negitive and that was 10 days after the time we think it happened, but then on the box it says to take the test the day the period is due, so it looks like that negitive result is not correct at the mo.

Sore breasts is a classic premenstrual symptom. Trust me!
If these "spots" around her nipples are like pimples, they are perfectly normal and are called montgomery's glands.
While they do tend to enlarge during pregnancy, it's unlikely to be the cause of their appearance this early.
Hcg (human chorionic gonadotrophin) is the chemical that pregnancy tests measure, and is also the chemical that triggers pregnancy symptoms. While some women are particularily sensitive to it's presence, most don't notice any physical changes until the hcg concentration is at least high enough to register on a pregnancy test (most tests detect 100miu of hcg).
There are some tests that detect lower amounts, and one brand is fre (first response early). This test can be used up to four days before her period is due (not with 100% accuracy as implantation times can vary, but with reasonable accuracy). I believe that this tests detects 20miu of hcg.

Give it a try, and if you get a reprieve this time (and I believe you will), please make sure you're well protected in the future.

Good luck.

Thanks, we tried using clearblue today. That comes with 3 tests we still have 2 left, do you think we should now wait till the due date (8th july) before trying again??

I really hope that it says negative. The bit that got us worried was because she never normally gets these little spot type things around her period, with any luck she will be fine. I have been looking for things to do with this little spots on the net to see weather it is very normal to get these but I cant find anything anywhere.

You sound very clear on what you are saying I just hope your right.....

Please keep me posted.

Hcg doubles every 48-72 hours so you'd be wise to wait a day or two if you've already tested today.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you both.

If I were to describe them, I would say they were small bumps that, if squeezed, have white "stuff" inside. This is perfectly normal and they should be left alone.

It's also possible that they are hair follicles. These would be small bumps surrounding the aureola.

I would test just before you go away. If it's still negative, the chances of your girlfriend being pregnant are slim, not impossible, but very slim.

Hang in there.

She is due on thursday so you thnk it would be ok to test wednesday morning before we leave...

It does sound like those are the spot type things she has. Are they noramal during the time leading the period??

This is so frustrating.... Not knowing... And that fact that we have never had sex before but then could still be pregnant...

What you're describing is in no way a sign of pregnancy. As I stated before, pregnancy symptoms don't usually show up until well after a missed period.

There is no reason to panic and, yes, you can test before you go on wednesday and, if it's negative, then you're 95% in the clear.

There are a few women who are late implanters (i'm not trying to make you nervous i'm trying to be honest) but the average day of implantation is 8dpo (days past ovulation). If a positive isn't registering by 13 dpo, it's not likely a pregnancy has occured.

Try not to worry.

Thanks, we will try and calm down a bit Smile

we are hoping to enjoy the holiday we will need it lol.

Ok so now we noticed on the other nipple we are hoping this could be her period coming. She says she has the pains now in the lower stomach, but this I am hoping is the pain of the period.

What do you think?

My honest opinion (and this is only my opinion, of course) is that you will be fine.....This time.

Don't keep tempting fate. Sometimes a scare can be a wonderful teacher.

Test in the morning, then go enjoy your holiday. Wink

Could I be pregnant?
I had the same situate.... Me and a guy did not have sex, however, his pre-cum was near my vagina. How likely is it for me to get pregnant? I am pretty stressed right now!
