Samie dear,

if scared & nervous had meant enmotionally, psychologically or physically she would have asked something more like what are all of the factors I should consider before having an abortion, or how will my body & mind cope if I have an abortion, it was quite clear she meant $$$$$$$$$.

If however you are actually concerned about her you could suggest that as she is scared & nervous she might go to a health centre, or family planning clinic & see a counsellor to help her decide what to do, to counsel her through whatever choice she makes & such a person would usually be able to advise & assist on cost as well. Idea

Or perhaps visit numerous web pages on abortion, reading some experiences of others as a helpful way of making a choice.

Abortiontv.Com

is a very good site with lots of facts, figures, experiences and a whole lot more - a must for anyone considering abortion.

Warning
That may not be a very helpful site for someone who is scared, nervous and needing advice on how much it will cost her to have a legal abortion.

I think another answer then is, "sometimes not nearly as much as it can cost -- financially, emotionally and physically -- to have a child."

I looked at that website, and it is the usual anti-abortion garbage. It doesnt answer the question that scared and nervous asked so that belongs on the debate forum, there is no information there that someone would want.

Samie,

scared & nervous is asking for information & help not for personal experience unless it provides information & help & the webiste you erferred to does not belong here it nelongs on the debate forum as do you & your totally self-righteous narrow minded views. You said in the debate forum that you wouldn't allow a daughter of yours to have an abortion, here is where women come for advice & information from people who are willing to understand that they (the person who originally posted!!) will make the decision/choice they consider right for them not the one you decide is right for them - you don't even know them!!

They are not my daughters - I personaly wouldnt want my daughter to abort but how could I stop her if she wanted to.

Simarly if my daughter didnt want an abortion I couldnt make her.

Just because I hold opinions on the subject (as doy you I might add) does not mean my experineces, feelings and facts are not legitimate to women deciding on abortion - I wont and simply cant force anyone to do something they dont wish to do. But I can share myself with them and support them in their time of need - if they decide to abort I can no longer support them fully but I can emotionally and factually and in a lot of otherways - you can still support them fully i.E in their decision

Samie,

if you are going to contradict yourself you will only make a bigger fool of yourself, you said in the debate forum that you would never allow your daughter to have an abortion but now when your words are repeated back at you & it suits you then you refute your own words - your words not mine.

Unlike you my mind is open & my support continues regardless of whether a person follows what I believe to be right (morally) or not - therein lies the difference between us.

This now belongs in the debate forum as it is no longer on the topic of how much does an abortion cost?

Blah Blah Blah.
An abortion costs.... One life. It may not seem like much of one right now but the one inside you is organic, living material. Not everyone thinks it's a human. But a mother knows in her heart.

An abortion costs.... One woman her freedom? At what cost? Will she regret?

Anyway, this argument is beautiful. Keep it up.

But I guess this is just "anti-abortion garbage". Thanks for acknowledging another person's opinion so fondly.

I think money should be the last thing to seriously consider, that's all.

Anyway... Here's some sites I found helpful, scared and nervous. Remember you're not alone. Fear is healthy but please think logically and with your heart. Block out all the outside voices, hell, even block out my opinion here!

But above all get the facts. So many, many women regret their decision in that they feel like they did not have all the facts before they got their abortion. There's lots of sites out there!

Best of luck and love.
