Q: Missed Period Neg Preg Test Bladder Infection Need Help

Me and my husband have been trying for our 3rd baby and have been using ovulation kits. My period was due on the 16th sept have done home tests all neg and had a urine test today at docs still neg but doc found that I have a bladder infection does anybody know if an infection can delay periods. Should I take the antibiotics worried of harming baby if turns out i'm preg Confused

You should call your doctor and ask. But also keep taking those tests to find out if you are pregnant. Good luck!!!

Bladder Infection
Goodness me gillian, try really hard to avoid antibiotics if at all possible, not only are they a trigger for thrush and yeast infections but the more you use them the more they will lose their effect when you really need them the most. I don't know if antibiotics can delay your period or cause a bladder infection, but worrying always seems to delay my period. Get some ural satchets for the bladder infection from your local chemist so that the infection doesn't go up to your kidneys and get really painful.

false pregnancy test with urine infection
I am in same psoition, I have been trying for the last 4 years to have my second baby, my perios is always earlier than the month before i have a 28 day cycle, i am now 5 days late but also have a urine infection, i have taken three home pregnancy tests all with neg results, should i go to the doctot to get a blood test or do urine infections just delay your periods, really doing my head in
