I have a long time to go, but I have my pediatrician set lol. He was my doc, my sisters doc, both my neices doc and soon to be my babies doc. Thats about all I have. Lol. Do you have a wipe warmer? Just a thought cuz the cold makes the baby cry, so I plan on getting a wipe warmer, umm I think you have everything. Grab the blankets, his clothes for the hospital, a camera... I think thats it.

Hows your lamaze classes going? I start mine in august

Thanks hun* yep I have a wipe warmer* and my lamaze classes are all over. We only had 3 classes each 4 hours long. It was cool, kinda helpful but I think once im in pain, I might forget the techniques. I think the birthing ball looks really cool to use during labor before the epidural that is. Its supposed to be relaxing. (you use one of those huge balls to help releave pressure etc and lay on them) also I liked learning cpr. I felt out of place though being the only one with my mom but thats ok** nikki how many weeks r ya now??

She is right you need the camera maybe 2 or 3, lol. And you need to pack mr man a bag for the hosp too. What you want him to have is picture takin in and what you are gonna bring him home in.
I urge everyone to have 2-3 outfits for the pic (back-up) I was at the hosp. With my friend when she had her baby and he had peed all over the first outfit and spit up all over the other. Luckily they had the really cute one I wanted them to take the pic in with them also. Just keep that in mind.

I need to do major laundry!! I got alot washed and still need alot more washed. Having terrible contractions though when I walk around so it makes it real hard on me!!!

Lots of love,
heather and hayley
p.S. You gonna wash the crib set? I have to cause I have had it on the crib and put stuff in it, etc. Dust and other stuff I want it all clean for my little b. (baby, lol) I picked up on my aunt saying aaaaawwwww b he is sooo pretty. When her babies were little she always said aaawww b. Lol I think I will too.

Contractions? Have you called the doc? How far apart r they? I havent been having them at all. Just painless braxton hicks sometimes. Are yours painless? Your due just a few days after me right? Or did ur due date change?

It did change but then they changed it back after the u/s the stupid measurements they give you false hope!!! Lol. Yeah its when I walk I have these terrible really painful contractions. I mean not all of them are painful but then there are some that feel like a jab. At meijer we had been shopping for like 2 hours well hour 1/2 and I guess I put to much on me. Since I have been sitting they quit but when I got up to go to the bathroom I had 1 on the way there!! I was like omg what the crap. They are not braxton hicks I am starting to think its false labor or something.
My doc is only in on tue. And thur. So today she did not check me but when I got home and then went to the store I staarted having these mega contractions!!!
Do you think it is false labor? I mena no mucos,(sp) water, etc. I can tell you at the store I got really super hot and had sweat coming on my forhead and thats when dad said are you okay? So I dunno. If it changes at all I guess I will have to call the emergancy number on the phone for now I am just gonna be on here sitting that is, lol.
Lots of love,

I packed my baby bag an that and I set up the cradle and crib and everything, I still need to work on the hospital bag a lil bit umm... Walking is a good preparation too... Also, buy pads and some pantiliners (when my friend was in the hospital they had those huuuuge bulky ones and she wished she woulda brought some of her own, I heard to take a pack with u) umm.. What else is there im missin.. Oh put up that "baby on board" sign in ur car.. And put the car seat in... Have film and a camera/camcorder ready (im gonna have my digital too so I can transfer pics right away onto here) umm what else... Have alcohol (for the umbilical cord) at home and oh I heard gas drops were a must have for the first few days! I cant think of too much else right now... Laundry of course for baby.. (i finally finsihed mine today! Whoohoo!) ummm basically thats all I can think of right now! Lol! Hope that helps!

Mylicon drops and yes they are a must I still need to get them!!
I heard to get a perry bottle the one that you can spray yourself with instead of whiping. Spray warm water while you pee that way it dont sting. Get 2-3 of them!!! Tucks, nursing pads to put in your bra. Thats about all I can think of right now. Oh yeah get you some tylenol or iburprofen so when you wean yourself off the medication you dont go without anything.

Thanks so much everyone! Lol yea I still gotta look at that carseat. ...

And shauna, about the alcohol for the cord, my doctor, and the people at childbirth class said that they dont reccomend using it anymore. Cant remember their exact reasoning but they said they just let it fall off naturally as long as it doesnt get infected*
