I had gastric bypass 3 years ago and really never had any stomach problems since surgery..Over the last week I developed stomach pain from the top of my belly button to below my heart..
Before this stomach problem started. As a precautionary measure about a month or so ago .I had an ekg, colonoscopy(?), stomach & liver ultrasound and complete bloodwork(everything was perfect) the pain I developed this week gets a little worse each day and feels burning inside but not to the point where I cant handle it.
Anyone hear of possible tearing or ripping of the surgery area?
My wife tells me all the time that I eat too much at once when I do decide to eat..Which is barely twice daily !
Any suggestions or possibilities please? Question Sad

RE: STOMACH PAIN AFTER GBS
Just wanted to respond to your post concerning stomach pain. I too experience severe stomach pain, almost 4 years after GBS. I had a endoscopy done last yr and was diagnosed w/Gastris. Again the pain has returned and another endo is scheduled for me next week. Do you find that you drink alcohol more? I believe this may contribute to my problem. I still experience at times severe vomitting and pain and dumping.
