I have been on topamax for a few years
now. It seemed to really help my bulimia
but I would like to stop taking
medications now. I am wondering if I get
off of it, will my bulimia come back? If
anyone knows, please let me know. My
doctor doesn't seem to know...

Hi,
i've heard of that drug, I was wondering,
is it used to treat obesity? Or is it an
antidepressant?
Edited to add: sorry, I looked it up
myself, and read that it is used for
epilepsy.

I take topamax for epilepsy and yes it
does make you loose weight. I am eating
anything to gain. I just can't it is a
kind of med where I can't cut off of. I
can eat and eat all day still nothing
looks like I have never ate a thing. The
topamax does that to you.

Ruby no it will not if you get off of the
topamax you will than put the weight back
on. The topamax makes you take it off.
So many people have gone threw it because
they lost so much weight

did you experience any side-effects from
topamax? (apart from the weightloss) I am

Hi there no mone was just weight loss the
only other problem is I can go without
eating for a day no problem. I do drink
thoose instank breakfasts now and ensure
plus if I don't eat right so I can put the
weight on. Limeridge
