I have been dealing w/rls for 7yrs. It started when I became pregnant. When they were born, rls was gone.2 yrs ago I suffered a miscarage, the rls continued. My neuro doc put me on requip(meds for parkinsons). My arms were becoming effected as well. Approx 6 months ago he prescribed clonzapam to help me sleep.Take as needed. This stuff made me way burned out the next day. I switched to mirapex 2 months ago due to side effects of requip. This was no help. I started having seizures(non epi).Docs could not figure it out. I had a 3rd opinion which stated that I was very much so anemic.I hope the iron therapy helps w/rls. It makes since that your muscles need good blood flow to keep them from contracting. It's a 6 month treatment. I am being weaned down on dosage of mirapex. Since lowering the does of pd meds, my seizure like spells are gone. I just get very wore out due to anemia.

Any one else?

Maybe Potassium
My mother has suffered from this and her doctor told her she may have a potassium deficiency. Maybe a supplement could help?
