Ok me and kevin spent the whole day yesturday looking for new apartments, we drove around for like 5 hours doing crap... Well we went to see if we could get that renters assistance crap where they help pay rent, well they said there is a 2-4 year waiting list! What kind of crap is that? Like people can wait 2-4 years just to get some help with their rent? And we applied for 2 appartments yesturday and this one was really really nice, it was on the river and it kinda reminded me of a resort in a way just because the way it was set up, it like had 3 buildings and they and put just right so then when you are buy the river, you dont see no city around you, and there were ducks on the lawn and stuff... It was just really nice, and it was an upstairs apartment with the living room window facin the river and it was just soooo nice and I really wanted to live there... But we got denied cuz of kevins gay credit report. Hopefully the one in appleton excepts us cuz that one was really nice too, just w/o the nice view... And it had cheaper laundry and cheaper rent, but we would have to pay the electricity, and then it would be further away from kevins work, so then we would end up paying more since of the gas for kevin to get to work, and then the elec. Bill... I wanna find a place where we can have our own washer and dryer cuz we've already got em, so what are we gonna do with them? And then we will be paying for the use of the laundry crap at the apartment, and our washer and dryer will just sit there in storage or where ever... Kevin wanted to move out of here by the end of the week but it looks like we are gonna have the same problems as last year cuz of kevins credit. How do they expect people to live?

I know they do have long long waiting lists exspecially in a city. That is why like as soon as a person turns 18 and knows they wanna live on there own by 24 but cant affford it you better go put in an application...I would have still put an application in and see where it gets you. I mean when you lease goes up on your first place, maybe you will be accepted by then and can get help on your next place.. Does that make sense?? I think you should continue to look in areas close to your hubby/boyfriends?? Work so that the prices of gas wont stress you, plus most people dont like the commute.

Good luck

The thing is that me and kevin both plan on having better jobs within 2-4 years, and the place we are at we dont have a lease, we just pay $200 every 2 weeks, and we can move out whenever we feel like it... Also places wont rent to us, cuz of kevins bad credit, and I dont think the renters assistance will help pay for someplace that just rents to us just for the fun of it... Lol I dont know if that makes any sense... But we want a nice place for cheap and the only way we can do that here is if we live in an apartment building... All the houses and duplexes around here that arent scum shacks are expensive and we cant afford them, expecially with a baby on the way. I found a 2 bedroom with heat and water included for $350 a month that will more than likely rent to us but it looks like crap on the outside so kevin doesnt even wanna check it out... Some places are icky on the outside, but nice on the inside, but I dont know. This is just really starting to get to me. I want the hell out of here! Im sick of living the way I am, and I want a bedroom for the baby, so I can decorate it all baby-style while I wait for her to be ready to be born. I just got done taking pictures of everything, like how everything is all crowded because they are fixing the bedroom, but its been taking them forever, they tore the ceiling out of the bedroom on april 24th, and just last week, they started working on the actuall roof. For those that dont know, I dont have use of my bedroom because the ceiling leaked real bad and we wanted it fixed, and its been taking 2 months, so I have been living like this for 2 months and we asked for a reduction in rent since its been taking forever, and they said they couldnt afford to give it to us. Yea right! Rolling Eyes maybe shannon should stop spendin money on his toys in his garage... My god, I dont know who needs plumbing in their freakin garage! Or a new cherry picker when hes already got one! Or all of them freakin tools, and hes got his own little paint thingy to paint his cars with... Hes got an air compressor in the back hall cuz he dont want it in his garage cuz he dont want to listen to it, so we have to... That will def. Wake the baby up at night. Their kid is soo loud, he slams the doors, and stomps up the stairs, and drops things on the floor.... Ok and they have this st. Bernard upstairs (the landlords) and when he comes down the stairs he like falls, and dan was over and he heard it and asked if it was thunder, I was like yea, hes like realy? I was like yea the dog, thunder, cuz thats his name... It was funny kinda though, he thought it was real thunder.
