Q: Is there anyone else out dealing with medicine induced?

Hi All!

I am a 29 year old Lupus Patient who has been on long-term, high dose steroids. This steroid usage has caused me to be a "random" diabetic. By that I mean if my steroids are high, I usually have to take several units of insulin (Humulin-R) a day. If my steroids are relatively low (40 or less), then I tend to be okay or even a bit hypoglycemic.

Is there anyone else dealing with this? And if so, how do you deal with it?

Thanks in advance,
LadyBrannon Cool
