I have hpv, I got it from my ex-boyfriend of 4 years. After a year of being with him I had my one and only break out and have seen a doctor snice that and that was 3 years ago. Well, back in sept. We brokeup and here recently I have been seeing someone else. I have never had to deal with telling someone about me having hpv. I have not yet slept with this guy or anything but I have had thoughts of maybe pursuing that and taking the relationship to the next level. But, before I do all that I have to tell him that I have hpv, and I want to know how do I tell him and what do I say exactly. I'm really scared and need someone's help. Please please help me... I really dont know to much about hpv, but first and foremost just be open and honest with him tell him exactly what you posted, if a man cares about you enough hell stay with you it wont mater, just make sure when you do decide to have sex you use condoms to protect him. Having a std does not make you a bad person, it means you had sex and there are tons of people who have them, and they are in relationships or married, so life doesnt stop because of it, if he doesnt stay then oh well his loss youll find someone who cares about you for the person you are not for what you have,
