When I was little I was diagnosed with a
something, I can't remember the name but
it meant I had tight skin around my penis
and I couldn't pull it back without
discomfort. Well the doctor told me to
try and pull it back in the bath as it
will make it easier.
When I tried this it made it easier and
after a while it didn't hurt as much.
Then I noticed that my skin was detached
from the base of my penis. I assumed
this was what a circumcision was, but
later found out it wasn't.
I am now 17 and this has been of a great
concern to me as I am afraid to have
sexual intercourse incase this makes me
incapable. I was hoping someone could
advise me as to whether this can be
treated via surgery or some other methods
and whether this should be a concern.

Are you circumcised? They may have
"messed that up" for lack of a better
word. I know a guy who's doctor messed
up his when he was a child and when he
started getting erections his skin would
tear and bleed. Because, he took off too
much skin. He had to get skin surgically
taken from somewhere and put back there.

circumcised. The problem is that the
skin around the base of my penis is not
directly attached and this may affect my
sexual life and I am hoping that there is
a solution.

I am sure there is a solution. Most
likely they can surgically re-attach (or
just attach) it. I would go to your
doctor and find out for sure though.
