Okay, girls!

Sorry, I couldnt keep my eyes opened hardly earlier..Lol....Well, here is jaydyns birth story:

friday, 6 am...Arrive at the hospital and check in to outpatient in the maternity ward...Im monitored, iv inserted(didnt hurt too bad) and catheter inserted(more uncomfortable than painful)...For somereason I bust into tears, I cried for an hour and noone could comfort me, I started getting scared..I told my mom I was leaving and I was gonna keep her in forever! Lol...

Around 8 am, they wheeled me into the surgery room..It was like 50* in there! I was freezing! I had like 20 blankets on me...I couldnt quit shaking...They put me on the operating table and stuck all knds of things on me. I sat up and got my spinal block(didnt hurt) within about 40 seconds my bottom half was numb..I couldnt lay back down by myself--after about 2 mins, my boobs down was dumb!!!! I didnt feel a thing, I was warm, and happy! They did all their prep work and blah blah...During this time I puked on myself but he just suctioned it on up!

All the sudden I hear, we are almost to the baby! I was like omg, u already cut me? I didnt feel anything at all! Anything!!! I was in la la land..Lol...Then I hear "someone has tons of hair" and I heard her first cry...They lifted her up above the screen so I could see her and she was screaming! She has some lungs! She was so beautiful! My mom took pictures in the surgery room but they are on a disposable so u have to wait till they get developed! Lol--she weighed 8 lbs. 8 oz.. Her apgars were 8 and 9..She was 20 1/2 inches long.

I went back to my room to recover, I was out---they gave me demerol in my iv, and I was out, dont remember too too much! Lol---i slept most of the day and everyone watched her for me, I didnt do too much holding of her friday..

Saturday, I got up( the most painful part of the whole experience!!!!!!), the nurse told me I had to have a shower by the end of the day...So I had to work up to it..Took mini walks and a dose of lortabs every 4 hours! Lol...I held, and cuddled my daughter..That sounds so weird to say!...

*btw, shes an awesome nurser!! She started after birth and has had no probs!*

sunday, pretty much hung around the hospital, I could have gotten discharged, but felt like a mini vacation so I stayed another night...

Monday I was discharged and now im home with my jaydyn pooh...

She sleeps all the time and never cries! Unless shes got a dirty or shes hungry or gassy..Mylicon is wonderful!!!!!!! Life saver!!!!!!!!

Thats about all I can think of right now...I still look preggo b/c I have pretty bad edema(swelling) and it wont go away for about three weeks...

Im not bleeding hardly any~ my Dr. Said I was one of the lucky ones! Lol--
nipples hurt really bad , but I gotta feed her! Lol...

I get my staples taken out wednesday..Yay!

Wow what a tale....I always wondered what they put you through before a c-section and it seems less barbaric than what my mom used to say and stuff *of course this was how they did it way back when* but yay for jayden finally rearing her cute lil head! One of these days you have to ask her what took so long

Aaaawwww jordan that is a great story!!! I feel so much better now knowing the story of a c-section. I find out tomm. If and when I have one. I am the same way though. I know I am gonna be sooo nervous and when I get nervous I get cold and I shake and everything. I loved your story and will probably read it a million times to reassure myself that I can do this!!!
Congrats I am so happy for you!!!

Lots of love,
heather and hayley

Lol jordan, your story made me laugh. It makes me feel much better in case I have to get a c-section... I really think I will have to since my mom and grandma had really complicated births... But I dunno.... Great story!

Im doing well...I did a lil too much yesterday but im okay~ jaydyn kept me up all ninght again, but hopefully she wont tonight..My cousin I sgoing to let me take my pain pills in the early morning and take a nap while she watches her and at night before she goes to bed, so that will help out a tremendous amount... Tmi maybe, but I dont even hardly bleed! I can keep the same pad on all day and prlly get like one drop of blood on it... I have small aches ad pains but im okay! Its not as bad as I thought...U get reqlly emotional and cry for no reason but thats okay! Im doing well otherwise!
