Ok you guys. Dewitt finally called me after another 8 days. Well, he had his mom call because he doesn't want to talk to my mom. He's a wimp but anyways.....It was funny because we went through the whole routine again on why I hadn't called and crap. And when I was yelling at him for being irresponsible and not calling or even sending those papers out he's like you could have called, you hung up on me. I hung up on him because he said that josh should have been camerin's!!! Would you not hang up?!?!? And then he said how do you know I didn't send them and i'm like because they would have been here by now!!! He's like well mom said she would and i'm like you are 18 incredibly years old and you can't mail a piece of paper yourself? And he claims he's never mailed anything before. So I yelled at him for an hour and a half and I actually made him cry....I mean really cry. Sniffing, funny voices and all. Then he said I wish I were dead, then everything would be easier for me. And I was like you are such a selfish jerk, it might make it easier on you but it makes it harder on everyone else and I asked him if he wanted josh to be fatherless and he's like I dunno omg I wanted to slap him......I dunno? What kind of incredibly answer is that??? So he finally had to go and hes like I send some money and the papers tomorrow. Yeah right. I feel bad for making him cry but that stuff needed to be said. Did I take it too far? Was I too mean??? What do you guys think???

Lol thanks! I was starting to wonder if I was too hard on him. I mean he cries about it cuz he cant be here, like there is anything stopping him. Hes 18. He can move. Now he says he cant because he already signed with a college blah blah blah and he wont be able to work during football season because thats the only way he can keeo his scholarship. Hes really getting on my nerves.... Mad lol.

If it is important to him, he will find a way. If not, he will drift through life taking the easy way out of everything. So either way, you'll know. And i'm sure you do.

Thanks.....I still feel a little bad but then I think about all the times he hurt my feelings or made me cry. Then I take a little pleasure in it. Lol. I know erin....Its not as though he couldnt move here if he really wanted too. He really needs to sort out his priorities, because josh and I should be before college and football, and we aren't, then well, he's gonna be sorry. I know college is important but not as important as your son. It's not as though he couldn't work for a year to get here and get settled...Then go to college. I told him that and he claimed he couldn't afford it and im like there is financial aid and he goes yeah but u have to pay it all back and im like no duh but not right away and you would be here. Someone should shove a football down his throat. Lol......

I applaud you for taking up for your son! You are the one taking care of him, therefore you have the right to talk to dewitt any way you want. You are thinking of your child while he is thinking of himself. I admire you!

Love,

Hey, hun, I think you did everything right! You deserve to be treated well being that you are the mother of his child. As well as he needs to either be a dad or not, not a part time father! Good going! Make him cry for all the times you and josh needed him!

Pff u definetly did the right thing! I know this woman who had to take care of her child for 18 years (till he was 18 anyays) before she could go back to school. So now shes like 40, and just startin to go to college and she doesnt regret a thing! So his ass can wait, he had a child and he needs to support it and he made a bind wit u that when u had his child, he should be there emotionally for u and that baby. I hope ur phone chat smartened him up and he realizes hes lucky to have such a wonderful gift as that child.

Grrrrrr......I am through with his crap....He can call and visit if he wants but I am done putting forth the effort to make him feel like a dad when he's not.

U go girl!!! Dont feel bad... Like the other girls said, you are the one doing everything for your son, and if dewitt really wanted to be there, he would. End of story. I really admire you for being such a strong person, you are an excellent mother and you dont take no crap from people..That is the best example you can set for your son. Stay strong, hun!!
