My doctor started checking me when I was 30 weeks cuz I had to go on vacation so she checked me to be sure id be okay for the trip and now, since I go every two weeks, she checks me just in case. So at ur next apt ur doc will prolly start checking u.

Here they dont normally check unless you are cramping or over due and are being induced.... In some women a cervix check can induce labour and they give it a good stretch if you are soft, effaced and over due.

They started to check me at 37 weeks. Personally, I wanted them too because I wanted to know if I was progressing or not...It is uncomfotable but only for a minute. And you could always just ask the doc to check, they always asked em if I wanted her too and i'd be like ummm yeah! So just ask tomorrow when they take your blood pressure and weight if the doctor can check your cervix, what are they gonna tell you no??? Lol.
