Hi, everybody. I am bulimic and I don't think I want to stop (i've only done it for abt 4 months this time around) but then again, I kind of do.
It is soooo frustrating!!

So what now?

Maybe This Will Help
Are you throwing up your food? I can't imagine doing something like that. If you don't want to gain weight, why don't you eat your food near a disposal; chew up the food and really enjoy it and then spit it out? You don't have to throw up because that's very hard on the body and it causes electrolyte imbalances. It's probably the reason you are emotionally upset. You won't have any side effects from spitting it out in the sink instead of swallowing it all. Then you can control exactly how much goes into your stomach.

I Can't
I do that sometimes but it's really hard to do. Besides, I like to throw up my food. It gives me a kind-of high. But abt 30 minutes later, I feel really weepy and awful. Besides, I am a pig, and pigs stuff themselves and can't help it.

Extremely eHealthy
It is really up to you whether you continue to pay for lyiing or not. It is also up to you whether you take positive or negative action. Arrow so which is it to be Question

you can lie to others even maybe to yourself but let's get one thing straight, people who are healthy(physica;;y & emotionally, do not do or say this:-

"i'm not sure I want to stop anyway. And I am physically 100% healthy. But I do this 1-3 times per day now." or this

"besides, I am a pig, and pigs stuff themselves and can't help it."

if you are truly a pig you can make a fortune as pigs can't generally use computers!! You were born human not a pig so use your mind & decide whether you want a real life or not & whether you want to actually do something about it or not??

Much of what you said is true about people not having a clue about eating disorders & about people telling you you're fine instead of asking, but I really doubt that they could fire you for lying to one person especially f you told your boss in order to get the time off to see this psychiatrist Exclamation

First off dont listen to merrymix..You, merrymix sound very ignorant. Dont sit there and try to pretend like one form of an eating disorder is any better then the other. Spitting/chewing is just as dangerous believe it or not! You just keep even less food in your system......

Anyhow, there is no way you can be physically 100% healthy if your bulimic whether u believe it or not. Even if u 'feel' healthy. Throwing up can and will do damage period. I know, from experience. Ive had an eating disorder for 2 yrs and been bulimic for a year and a half. Im 18. Im also 36 1/2 weeks pregnant, therefore ive been trying to completely recover. I have improved so much but still see my eating therapist. I purge now about 2-3 times a week. Anyhow.. U cant stop until you want to. And I pray u will want to soon. The sooner u try to quit, the better. . Soon you wil become trapped, even if uthink you wont, it happens. When I was only bulimic for 4 months I didnt want to stop too bad yet either. .But now I regret not stopping while I still could. It only gets worse eventually. At my worst I was doing it 5-6 times per day. . And you want help you say, but u cant expect people to know unles u show them..And if u lie, they have no reason not to believe you. Its hard I know, but u gotta come clean to them if u want their help. And if u feel like staying with bulimia will keep you thin, thats not true either., at first, and for a while u probably will lose quite a bit of weight. But as with any eating disorder, it messes up ur metabolism badly.. And the longer u live with it, the worse and slower ur metabolism will work.. Anyhow.. Goodluck and I hope u make the right choice and choose to try to recover and live free of an eating disorder. Ure worth more then calories~goodluck!
