Q: Piercings With Hip Replacement

I'm having my left hip replaced in january. I'm wondering about infection from my piercings. I'm in my twenties and have a couple piercings and would like to get another one before surgery. I know that infection will gravitate towards my hip, but my piercing should be healed by then. Plus i'm wondering if I would need to take out the other piercings permanently. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
kap

Once the piercing is established then there shouldn't be any risk of infection
