Q: Question About Last Set of Bcp's....

I have been taking ortho tri-cyclen for about 10 months now and have no serious side effects. Recently over the past two months during my last set of pills before my placebos the vulva becomes really itchy and a little red. I dont think this would be a yeast infection becomes this only happens on the last set of pills and stops before I get my period. I have also noticed this just month after taking half of my pills a thick white discharge but only lasted for a couple days with no odor or any irritation. Has anybody else had this and do you know what causes it. Thanks in advance.

Some women do develop yeast at certain times of the month. Your body could be pushing it out at this time of the month (as our bodies clean themselves) that could be what it is, but your body is taking care of it on its own.
Other than that, I honestly don't know what it could be. Sorry.

I have been on ortho tri cyclen for 14 years and I have never had any problems, if your problem persist talk to your doctor, are you cleaning yourself with soap, that can be whats irritating you or it can be a reaction to the pill,
