Hi '
I pulled a muscel on my side about 6 weeks ago it feels as though its just under my ribs and is quite painfull I cant stretch up or lie on that side I have been to the docs he gave me ibulive gel its help a little but the pain is always there its like a constant toothacke in my side would be grateful of any advice ;thankyou; Sad

Hi helen
six weeks is way too long for a pulled muscle to continue to ache. My recommendation is to return to your doctor for a thorough reexamination of the region and if necessary some imaging studies to follow up with. Its hard for me to give specifics without knowing more of the history of the injury.
