How Do You Know

How do you mean not know that you had meningits?

Ok my mom dies when I was 1 and now im 17 and im desperate to know why and how, I recently found out that it was meningitis, but my question is is this a disease that never goes away, or is it something like a cold only that if not taken cared of quickly can kill you, I really need to know ive read countless things about meningitis but non have ansewered my question, I hope someone responds or just emails me something cause iam really desperate to learn, I also need to know if meningitis can cause heart attacks cause I also learned that my mom had 3 before she died, again please someone answer. Meningitis is a disease that if lft untreated will kill you. It can kill within hours of contracting it. It can be found in many strains, some more severe than others.
I dont think that it is linked to heart attacks. Meningitis can be virul or bacterial, and many people carry the bacteria in thier body thye just need some thing to trigger it off.

Hey I had mening sept in 2004 and when I was on life support my heart did attack very slightly... However I dnt feel u wud have after affects with out u knowing that u had it....
