Yeah taka, brushing your tongue aswell will make a huge difference because that is where that bacteria grows, on your tongue, have you ever noticed that whitish subtance on the back of your tongue ? Have you ever tried taking odourless garlic tablets ? Garlic kills bacteria, and the odourless tablets do not leave the garlic smell on your breath. Garlic gets rid of warts to believe it or not. I wrapped garlic in a bandage around my daughters finger where she had a wart and left it over night. It turned to a blister and fell off. She has never had trouble since. My advice would be to get a thorough dental exam that includes a periodontal evaluation.If that checks out okay,then you may have something going on with you body and you should have a complete physical.This may sound like a lot of work,but your health is worth it.Good luck to you.

Actually ..I have been having bad breath since I was 9 years old ..About 10 years later..I surf the internet about how to cure the bad breath..There are actually 3 things that u need to do ( so far it works for me :d )

1. Scrapped your tonge with a scrapper (copper scrapper is reccomended)
2. Use floss to clean your teeth ( do it before you went to bed)
3. Brush your teeth properly (at least twice a day - morning and before you go to sleep)

do either step 1 then 2 or vice versa and followed step 3...And lastly use mouthwash ..I reccomend listerine ..

I am looking for garlic products that do not cause bad breath. What do you recommend? I heard the powder form is useless. Is this true?

I have the same problem! I really like flavoring my meal with garlic but I hate my breath after eating it! And I know that garlic has many positive effects on one's health. So now i'm looking for garlic products that have the advantages of garlic without bad breath. I actually found some pages of these. If you know something good please tell me.

I brush properly, including my tongue. I have bad breath that I believe is coming from my tonsils. There are little gaps in them that produce these little yellow particles. When removed, they smell terrible, just like my breath does, but a lot stronger. This is where it is coming from. Anybody know what these are and what they are called? How do I stop them? I've tried to go in and take out whichever ones, but they keep coming out. Any ideas? Thanks!

Brushing your tongue is very important. You can even buy something thats called a tongue sraper at the drugstore. Also no matter how much you brush if you are not flossing there is still bacteria present. Getting cleanings at the denstist at least 1x yr (6 months is optimum) will help keep things in check. There could be a stomach related issue or even certain meds you take can cause bad breath. Literine is good occassionally but beware of the high alcohol content. If used too regularily it can dry the tissues out.
