Ok I havent been feelin good the past couple days and so ive been takin it easy. Last night my back was throbbing really bad in my lower and middle back I finally fell asleep last night at 1am then was woken by the really bad pain in my back at 3:30. I mean this pain was just way outa control and I felt like crying, I ended up gettin sick again and I dont even know why. Thats twice that I threw up for no reason in the middle of the night. But today I didnt do anything because im still not feelin good but I had an eye doc appointment and that was it. So I went and now my back is throbbing really bad again in the lower half only kinda by my tailbone. My tailbone feels like its gonna explode or something. Well I fell asleep on the couch since I didnt get alot of sleep but everytime I dose off I get a sharp stabbing like pain in my crotch. Is that my ligaments? All I know is this all sucks especially all mixed together at one time. Why couldnt it be at seperate times? For yall that dont know im 30weeks tomorrow(friday the 25th). Thanks yall

Hi! I'm lauren, i'm new around here, but I made a post introducing myself! You can check it out! It sounds to me as if it might just be pregnancy aches and pains, but if it continues I would definately go in and be checked out by your doc or his nurse! To help with the pain, you could try icing the area! I can tell you how to make an amazing ice pack a physical therapist showed me how to make, if you want! I hope you get to feeling better!

Explain what you mean by stiff and in pain? Like your stomach was tight? Help me understand! Ok for the ice pack...You puit in 2 parts water to 1 part alcohol....Like rubbing alcohol! Mix that in a gallon size plastic baggie and put it in the freezer! Bad part about it is its gonna take it awhile for it to freeze! But when its done it will be really slushy and you'll be able to mold it to whatever surface it needs to go on! If it comes out and its too hard/frozen, you didnt add enough alcohol! Hopefully this helps! Please try and explain that pain to me though! Hope you get to feeling better!

Oh no problem! I would keep an eye on the cramping stuff...If it continues, see the doc! Sounds like you just need to slow down a little and relax! Best of luck...Keep me updated!

Heat actually speeds up nerve impulses, causing pain! But heat is good for muscles long term! Kinda confusing! But a back massage definately! If I was pregnant I would be getting every massage I could! You have an excuse...Why not use it! Haha

Heather I think you need to call your doctor and tell them you need to come in and be seen tomm. I think that this pain has just been going on fot to long now!!! Quit doing laundry. I say lay down!!! Lauren is right the heat only makes it worse, so avoid the heating pad!!! Tell ryan he needs to give you a nice massage. Try a nice bath. Not hot, not cold just relaxing. Even take some towels rolled up and put them between your bac and the tub. I really hope you start feeling better heather. Quit doing so much. Lay down on the couch or whatever place is comfy. On your left side and prop some pillows between your legs. That eases paain on my lower back. Good luck and keep us posted.
Lots of love,
heather and hayley

Well this mornin I woke up and my back pain eased up but now its back since I started movin around. I only got up to go to the bathroom to go to a rummage sale and to eat and to come back down stairs. I go to the doc on monday so ill have her check it out on monday. I'll keep yall informed. But I hope this stuff gets better and I dont do laundry anymore lol that was my last day. No more baby clothes to wash, theres just more at my moms to wash but thats not til I move back in there. I did ice my back though and my back went numb for a lil while but then I could feel the pain again. So my ice slush pack is back in the freezer for later on today/tonight.

Heather- hey! Ok I took a few minutes to look some stuff up for ya! I dont think there is a magic way to make the pain go away, but there is things you can do to help ease the pain! Still try the ice....Do like 10 minutes on 10 minutes off and see how that works! You could try taking a bath....Fill the tub enough to cover your belly so it will relieve the pressure and you can kinda just float....That should help your muscles relax! Umm what else? Back massage...Get someone to massage in a circular motion over the lower part of your back. Use some lotion and that will be less friction on your skin! One other thing that is kinda goofy, but I do this with cramps sometimes and its also good in labor....Relax your muscles...Just lay there and start with your head/jaw and make a point to relax everything. Then just move down your body....Relax your arms, hands, stomach muscles, back, legs etc...Haha! Hopefully there is something there that will give you some relief! I'll keep looking for stuff in my books! Good luck!
Lauren
