Q: Acne: Upper Arms & Chest

I have suffered from the problem of acne of the upper arms and chest for years. I am now 34 and still suffering ever since I was in teens. I have tried literally everything possible, including most of the over-the-counter things although I can say the only "relief" I get from serious outbreaks of acne is using quinoderm cream (although it discolours dark clothing) Sad

does anyone else suffer from a similar problem? If u do u will realise how much it affects your life, simple things like not taking your t shirt off in front of other people in the summer, relationships etc etc.

Please get in touch - would like to contact others, preferably in north west uk, and if u can suggest anything else I could try please let me know. Cheers guys !

Re: Upper Arms And Chest
Acne vulgaris is an ailment of the sebaceous glands which tend to get blocked and are influenced by the hormone testesterone. It can get infected and lead to cystic acne too. On healing the acne could leave scars. Homeopathic medicine has good remedies to get rid of the influence, heal the acne, prevent the infection and thereby scars too. There are good medicines like hepar sulph, merc sol, kali brom, thuja, sulph, calendula, echinacea, sarsaparilla to get rid of your condition. I am sure homeopathy would be of help to you.

Another contributor to your chest and arm acne might be right under your nose...Your shampoo. I started suffering from acne heavily on my chest and back when I went to college until I realized what had changed: I stopped washing my hair in the sink at college. I am totally about homeopathy too. I have been taking chinese herbs (sunrider products) since I was 15 years old. Another thing you can do (besides the washing your hair in the sink and herbs) is to wash with proactiv solution and invest in a good sponge. Don't scrub the pimples, as they will become irritated, but you can exfoliate other acne prone areas to prevent break-outs. I did these things and I now am completely acne-free on my arms, chest, and back.

Hope this helps.
