Any tips for a closer, less painful shave 'down there'? How many women do this?

This was covered in the womans sexual health forum awhile ago. Someone came up and said that hair cholesterol in place of shaving cream works wonders. It shaves closer and prevents ingrown hair. And yes this hair cholesterol is actually for the hair on your head, so you can find it in that isle of a wal-mart or zellers or anything like that that you may have where you live.

I know a ton of women who swear by a brand called "coochy creme" as giving the best shave ever. I tried to put a link to it, but it didnt' work. This is what the write up is this:

Quote:
terrible name, great product. Coochy crème is the best product on the market for shaving that bikini line. Razor burn is a thing of the past with this remarkable shaving cream. Coochy crème also makes a strangely good hair conditioner.

the average customer rating was a 5 out of 5. I can give you the link to a place that sells it if you want.

I don't personally know as I refuse to shave. :p

Works For Me
I purchased a mens electric razor. The kind with the 3 circular heads. I shave the entire upper area with it (no bumps or burn to date!) for the lower area I use a razor in the shower. The only area you need to be gentle with is the area in the creases of your legs..Do not shave against the grain in that area. I swear by this and not a single shaving burn or bump.
Shave the upper area prior to getting in the shower with the electric and shave in a circular and slow motion...Never shave it wet as it changes the hair courseness. Then do the lower in the shower. Like I said....The only caution area is the creases of your legs. If you do this you will have a perfectly shaved bikini area. You need to replace the electric blades every 6 months...You will be amazed!
