Q: Malignentvasovagal Syndrome

I have recently been diagnosed with malignant vasovagal syndrome.

After many years of having semi blackouts (do not loose conciseness), with excruciating lower stomach pains. On these occasions my b/p drops and my heart rate goes down as low as 30b/m. I now have a pacemaker which is set to intervene if my heart rate drops below 60b/m. Diagnosis have ranged from food poisoning, hormonal imbalance, stress, menstrual cramps, ibs and many more. An episode will last approx 30-45 minutes but leave me feeling very lightheaded and my vision is very blurred for maybe a couple of days. Needless to say I take things very quietly.

Now that we have solved the problem I am trying to find the cause.

I am trying to find out how to avoid situations that will upset the vagal nerve. The ibs is a major factor. Has anyone the same problem? Any ideas on self help?

Look forward to hearing your views.

Extremely eHealthy
I suggest that you check out various sites on ehealth that have any of your symptoms & post this question in any area that seems relevant - here it is out of place so that may be part of why there have been no replies.

Also another source of information is to go to a search engine & type in causes of malignentvasovagal syndrome & also remedies for it. & the go from there.
