We made an offer on a house today! Its a really clean, nice one story, 1850 square feet house in a really clean neighborhood. Its four bedrooms and under ten years old. The link will break if I post it here, so here are directions:

It is really nice. How much did ya'll offer? Jon wants to buy a house as soon as I turn 18 ,but I think that eventhough we may have the money ,that we should spend a year using my system to build up credit ,then go for it and get a lower interest rate.

Just in case n e one wants to know what my system is i'll explain.

We will have two credit cards with both of our names on the account. One will be a rewards card(like for trips or something) ,and the other will be an emergency card.

The rewards card will be used to pay all of our bills every month (like recurring bills) ,and as soon as the bill comes or before it comes we will pay it off so that we won't have to pay interest. This works b/c they are the same bills every month any by the end of the month we will have enough money to pay off all of our monthly bills. If you don't make enough to pay off your monthly bills you'll just go in to debt using my system. And like I said it works b/c you have money to pay all of your monthly bills at the end of the month, you won't pay any interest b/c you'll be paying on time, and at the end of the year you get rewarded just for using the credit card and paying your bill. So you win plus it'll build up your credit.

The emergency card will be for just that. I mean things that we want to buy ,but will take longer than a month to pay off ,or any emergency. Oh for this to work the card has to have a very low interest rate.

We offered $6,000 less than what they are asking for it, plus they have to pay for a fence, termite protection, and our closing costs.
