Hell-o everybody!

I've been having a very big problem finding a good sun screen that won't casue rashes, is there one that is strong and yet, sensitive to the skin?

God Bless !

I, too, have to use good, strong sunscreens. I have found the No-AD (as in no advertising) brand to work very well. I think my SPF is 45.

Sunscreen
Hi Deborah
I have used a lot of suncreens(very expensive through the dermie and otherwise) and have found that Coppertone Oil free SPF 30 (which has Parsol/avobenzone-important) and Coppertone faces work quite well and have good lasting power. IThey have not been overly irritating, either.
Also, San Diego Hat Company makes some really cute/lightweight wide brim hats that help.
If you run across anything else helpful let me know!

Sunscreen/Clothes
That reminds me...there is a laundry wash that you can use that is good for up to 20-30 washes that gives sun protection to your clothes as well. Most Lupus patients that I know seem to like it. As for the cost, I guess it would depend on where you are located. I, personally, have never seen it for more than $6 to 7.00.

That would be so great to have a laundry wash like that. Do you recall the name of the product?
Thanks so much!

Laundry Wash
The product is made by Rit (like the dyes...) and I know can be found at Target and Food Lion. I may have also seen it at Wal-mart. You can find it with the dyes.

I hope this helps!

Where do you get this type of detergent? I'd love to try the product. I have a problem with detergent anyway.

detergent
Oh! It is such a great idea. But, alas, I have had no luck finding it at Target, Walmart or my local grocery store. Lots of RIT dyes and washes, though Smile If anyone has the name so I can order it that would be great. Probably it is just not carried in my area. Thanks !
