I am trying to solve the mystery where my health is concerned. I developed auto immune urticaria a year ago, and have gone into anaphylactic shock 4 times during the past 12 months. No external cause has been found, but I blame it on a swim in a local reservoir. Since then I have also developed polycythemia and have severe mobility problems. I have had to reduce my working hours from more than fulltime to 2 days a week and have all kinds of other symtoms that are totally impairing. My sense of humour has thankfully remained though Smile. I have been told that the three identified conditions are not related which I find hard to believe. Is there anyone else out there with these, or part of these dis-eases(take your pick basically) who could help us solve the jigsaw?

Any suggestions gratefully received!

Same symtoms for me
Never had an allergy problem, was exposed to mold in a home and developed chronic urticurea and anaphylaxis.....since have been diagnosed with Hashimoto's, but no relief for the other auto immune symptoms. Synthroid is not working for the thyroid, so I feel there is something else going on, but no one seems to be able to help. I am constant antihistamines to alleviate the hives. I hope someone else can post a response.
