Lip Is Purple After Boil? Posted: 06-16-04 17:53pm
It started out feeling like a pimple was
about to appear under my skin. Odd thing
was it was on my upper lip. I let it pass
for a few days and I could finally see
what I thought was a head. It looked (key
word) like a boil, because I had one
before (not on my lip though). So I read
up on it and it said that when it comes to
a head... It's ready to drain... So I
pinched the skin a little bit with a
cleaned nail clipper and some clear liquid
came out. Im thinking... Everything is
gonna be ok. Well, it's been several days
and a scab is forming but is easily
irriated and sometimes it bleeds and has
to start scabbing again. What im worried
about is that I noticed that there is a
little bit of area around the scab that is
purple. Does anyone have information as
to why a little bit of my lip is purple?
