Q: Hpv????? Worried!

I have developed small (1mm diameter) bumps around the urethra of my penis. They are darker than the surrounding skin and do not stick up much - if at all. I've tried placing acetic acid (vinager) to see if they get whiter, and they do not.

Could this be hpv?

Hpv will most likely display warts with a cauliflower like appearance and will be raised slightly. Also they mainly will become white when presented with a vinegar solution. This doesn't mean that you don't have an std though. There are a few other std's bacterial and viral that present bumps on the genital region. It would be smartest to go to a clinic and get tested for std's. Some, such as hpv are not diagnosed without any noticeable symptoms. So in a way, it is a good thing that you do have some type of visible symptom so it can be diagnosed. Best of luck!
