I would like to know if a vasodilater such as hydralazine in some casescan actually increase blood pressure. What would be a possible cause ofthis reverse effect for what the drug is prescribed for?

Well, a vasodilator relaxes the the blood vessels so that pressure is decreased so it should not cause the reverse effect. This is probably a great question for your doctor though.
