Ok we went to hang out with an old friend and his wife. They have 2 kids. Romeo is 3 and angelina is 9 months. Romeo screamed all the time and angelina didnt cry, but when she got put in a car seat she screamed her head off. And they do nothing to stop them!!! I was in the house getting nervous with all the screaming and was 2 seconds away from smacking romeo and putting the rodent in the corner. I mean he screamed because they turned off the tv, for like 5 min straight! And then angelina cried and the wouldnt give her a pacifier or a toy! I swear I was so stressed by that I still have a headache. And they boy cant talk! He knows like 2 words! Im like talk son! Speak up!!!! I was so annoyed with everyone! They even let angelina chew on a hot wing! Shes 9 months!!! I was like omg! And then I smelled a stinky diaper and I was like omg change that crap it smells!!! I couldnt stand it. Im so stressed right now lol. Its not even funny.

Then my family is moving so I wont have a sitter anymore. I cant stay home because I pay the rent. And joses money pays everything else. Im so stressed right now. I need a major nap. I cant handle this...

Yeah but he didnt. I was like say something!!! And he just looked confused. It made me mad. The screaming, the smell, everything just drove me nuts.

Then angelina was climbing of a step and she was 1 second away from cracking her head on the floor and my sis was like omg!!! And it was like in slow motion my sister cought her head by her chin and saved her from a crash and I was like omg she almost fell!!!! And the mom didnt care! She was like oh did she almost eat sh*t? I was like yeah she could have hurt herself!!!

Im gonna have no help out here, now im actually considering moving to arizona where his family will help, but I cant really stand them. Cuz they are all drunks. But at least it will be cheaper to live out there. Like a 2 bedroom will be 600 a month. I dont know im so lost

In some cases you just end up with a bad (or not bad, but a kid with issues) kid, but in most cases it is up to you. I mean, if you let your kid scream all of the time for no reason and never do anything about it then they are going to keep doing it. But, if you teach them that screaming will not get them everything then they will learn. Of course, newborns are definately an exception, but you know what I mean.
When it is your child it will be different. Plus, they will know their limits with you. If you don't let them get away with being bad, then they most likely will not push you.
When my siblings and I were children we knew what we were and were not allowed to do. My mother says that we never acted up in the stores or restaurants etc. We knew better. It drives me insane to see people in public who just let their kids run wild, touch everything, scream etc.
I have even watched people who when we were out to eat just kept talking to their company while their child screamed. Like they didn't even hear him! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Hey
Nikki,
it's just the stress hun! You'll be able to deal when it's your child. You'll be able to raise your child in a decent way and you unlike this mother will care about your child...... I promise it'll be better than you think!
