I'm not sure if I have I have lupus, but I
have alot of the symptoms. Maybe someone
could advise me on what to do, who to see?
I go through periods of times when my
hair falls out, it gets very thin. I get
terrible headaches, where I have to take
pain medication several times a day(i am
otherwise not big on taking anything
unless I really need it). I also get very
tired . When I go out in the sun without
sunscreen I get little bumps sort of like
pimples or blisters and they itch so bad I
practically scratch my skin off, they last
for a week or 2. Some of my joints hurt.
Specifically my knees, fingers and some
parts of my feet. My back hurts everyday
upon rising. I thought maybe I was
getting arthritis. But i'm only 41. I
rarely have day when I do not have
diarrhea and heartburn. My memory is
shot. My husband thinks i've become an
airhead. I do too. About 4 months ago I
thought there was something really wrong
with my heart. I had some pain. It was
fluttering. Very often. I went to a gp,
he did a bunch of tests. Said my liver
and thyroid were good. Cholesterol levels
were ok, 192. Sent me to a hospital to
have a stress test which they said was
fine also. By the way I didn't tell the
gp about all the other symptoms because I
didn't think they were related. I did
tell him that I had stopped using anything
with aspartame because I thought that was
the cause of the headaches and hairloss.
When I quit using these products my
headaches lessened and my hair started
growing in thicker. I thought it was the
aspartame. But 3 weeks ago my hair
started falling out again. Again the
headaches. And all these other symptoms.
So I went online singly checking on
different things, photo sensitivity, hair
loss etc and lupus is what I see in
common. I am scared. Who do I see? What
kind of doctor do I see? I have good
health insurance. Blue cross ppo.
There is one more symptom that really
scares me. At night when I lay down in
bed, it feels like there is alot of air or
liquid moving around just below my ribs.
It kind of feels like when you are 9 mos.
Pregnant and the baby is moving around
under your rib cage. Feels very strange.
The worst thing is I don't know what it
is. Does anyone else have that?
I've had some of these symptoms for years.
